In case you were worried….

Posted: February 20, 2011 in Uncategorized

I don’t plan to stop blogging altogether and shit, I just torched the old place ’cause I felt like it.  I do rash shit like that sometime, but oddly enough, rarely do I regret it…

Anyhoo, no, nah, I am not ceasing on the bloggage, hell, I even have some posts in mind and shit…on subjects near and dear to me like what sorta world do we live in where stripping is seen as a bigger crime than stealing or DUI, the medical/medical insurance industry and why they suck eggs in hell (and yep, this is even recognizing my privilage of having pretty kick ass insurance), drugs, and well, other shit.

So no, I’m not dead.

I wondered if you did that or the host did.

Now that it’s dead, I wonder if parts of it could be published to profit. You strike me as very marketable. You mix of honor, stoicism and a fair piece of edginess would be an intriguing “moral beacon” in a world rather dissatisfied with standard fair.

So, can a nasty Jewish girl settle down a harsh world?

Once thing, I never got around to was contending your evaluation of Augustus. I would rate Nerva/Trajan as having left the better legacy. Augustus left Tiberius who killed off Germanicus and set the stage for endless carnage of succession. Nerva lived briefly as Emperor but left Trajan and 100 years of peaceful and prosperous succession.

Are all of the articles on your old blog gone for good? I know some of them were cross-posted on sites like Feministe and FeministCritics, but what about the rest?

  3. I’m very glad you’re not dead (either literally or figuratively)!

I’m pretty sure over the years I linked quite a few posts at the Sacked Empire, so it would be nice if there were a way to find it again so I second Jakeb’s questions.

I like Roykay’s idea too – with some editing to make the structure suitable to the format, you could definitely put together a book from your writings!
