Safe journey!
Have fun!
If you are on the east coast watch for jellyfish. I saw ‘em on the beach at Palm cost in March and Rootie saw them on the beach near Savannah a couple weeks ago. No idea what’s up with that.
It happens alot at this time of year down there
Shows what I know.
I suppose warning you about blizzards in the midwest in January is kind of unnecessary too.
It’s jellyfish season every spring. Them things hurl themselves at hapless tourists and otherwise clean beaches every Spring Break.
Have a good holiday.
I love it when you quote Homer Simpson and Somerset Maugham (well, he was referring to Monaco not Florida but that’s quibbling) in the same sentence. May I suggest breaking your trip with a stop at South of the Border (“the Border” to those in the know)? The sheer horror of the place should give you an adrenaline bump that gets you most of the way to Georgia.
Erik, south of the stateline of NC…and I am familiar with the place…it cracks me up.
Pedro sends his regrets.
bon voyage (ten years late)!
